On The Verge, Episode 001: Matias Duarte
Highly entertaining with great production value. I think Joshua Topolsky goes at Matias Duarte (UX lead for Android) with the perfect blend of edge and humor. He never comes across as confrontational while still making Duarte respond to some tough criticisms.
I thought Duarte was also a great sport and was never rattled though clearly a couple of Topolsky’s sugar coated zings stunned him.
Good stuff.

Designed by Mr. iPod Tony Faddell. Great example of how Apple design principals are bleeding into other markets after Apple proved that design matters and can increase the bottom line…
Oh, great site also. Really beautiful.

Only bummer? Flash required. Still, an incredible tool.
Thank you to Steve Jobs for advancing the appreciation of design as a cultural phenomenon. Thank you for making good design accessible and setting the bar for the necessity for intuitive use, and the elimination of needless complexity. Your influence will surely endure.

One of my favorites from a minute or so looking at the Steve Jobs tribute Apple published today.
